Vegetarian bed & breakfast,
bunkroom, camping and eco cabin
Welcome to Trericket Mill vegetarian bed & breakfast,
bunkroom, camping, and self-catering eco cabin.
Trericket Mill is ideally located as an exploration
base for the Brecon Beacons National Park, the second-hand book town
of Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains, Welsh Marches and Victorian spa
towns of Mid Wales.
We offer a range of informal accommodation; in the
veggie guesthouse we have two doubles, one twin bedded room and a
two person bunkroom, all en suite. Across the mill stream in the old
cider orchard, 'River Cabin' offers cosy
self catering accommodation for up to 4 people and there is also a
small terraced camping area.
All our catering, from breakfast to simple suppers
or 3 course evening meals, is vegetarian, using wholefoods, organic
and fair trade produce wherever possible, and pure natural water from
our own supply. Space permitting we can offer breakfasts and evening
meals to River Cabin guests and campers.
We have developed an Environmental
Policy as part of our effort to minimise our impact on the environment
and ask our guests to support us in this endeavour. Please note that
the guesthouse and River Cabin are both smoke-free.
Mid Wales is a peaceful and unspoilt area with open
countryside, magnificent mountain ranges and waterfalls, raging rivers,
meandering streams, wild tracks and spectacular scenery. Indulge in
local activities such as walking,
cycling & mountain biking, canoeing, horse riding, and gliding.
The Wye Valley Walk and Sustrans' Lôn Las Cymru cycle route
both pass by Trericket Mill and we have lots of ideas for local walks,
cycle rides and car-free days out during your stay.
