Our Veggie Food
We offer simple wholesome and interesting meals using organic and
local produce where possible. All the catering is vegetarian.
A typical menu for our Evening
meal
Roasted parsnip and bramley apple soup with crusty bread
or
Black olive, sun-dried and cherry tomato bruschetta on a bed of spicy rocket
–
Spinach, buckwheat and mushroom bake with mushroom and sherry sauce, new potatoes and seasonal vegetables
–
Organic chocolate brownie with home-made vanilla ice cream
or
Lemon polenta cake with fresh raspberries and creme fraiche
We usually serve dinner at 7.30pm and charge £18.75
for 3 courses, or £15 for 2 courses.
We also offer a Simple
Supper option, such as:-
Mexican bean and bulgar casserole with brown rice and spring greens
–
Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts
or
Toffee sponge pudding
We charge £8.50 for a simple supper and from £3
for a simple dessert!
If you would like an evening meal with us we would normally
like to know by the morning to give us time to prepare it although
we can usually offer a simple supper at shorter notice.
Although we are only able to offer a limited choice,
if you let us know about any special dietary requirements or preferences
in advance we will be happy to accommodate them!
We have an interesting selection of soft drinks for
sale but as we have no alcohol licence you are welcome to bring your
own wine.
